How to clear a troubled mind with Selenite
Selenite is renowned for its cleansing and purification qualities, it is used for the mind, spirit and home. Created by Grandmother moon as she pulled the tides in Morocco many, many years ago. The salty mass formed crystals, full of tiny blessings of purification.
You may be wondering why we need to cleanse ourselves spiritually or how Selenite can do this. I believe that cleansing ourselves spiritually is like taking a bath only it washes away unhelpful thoughts and feelings which may, if not addressed turn into stress and other physical symptoms. Subconscious thoughts can hold us back and hinder our success.
I would like to share with you a technique that can take time to master but can also work with may different crystals. As we are focusing on purification of the spirit we will need to use selenite.
Place a selenite palm stone over the heart chakra and preferable onto your skin, make yourself comfortable by either sitting or laying down. Lengthen your spine and release any tension in your body. Close your eyes. Now take three deep breaths and, as you inhale, do so for the count of three. Then exhale for the count of three. This will help to relax the body and reset the nervous system. Controlled breathing can also calm the mind by slowing our heart rate and bolster our immunity.
Now we are going to really unlock the potential of this beautiful crystal. FEEL the crystal resonate with your heart chakra. FEEL the crystal, your heart and your mind link in perfect harmony. Continue with your breath-work and hold that feeling. Breath in for the count of three and exhale slowly. Use your heart and mind to lock in this crystal energy with yours.
When you feel a sense of peace in your heart and, your minds eye is clear of clutter, you will be ready to work with Selenite for cleansing your spirit. Still holding the Selenite over your heart chakra, I invite you to ask yourself what do you want? If you desire spiritual purification, then this is the time to ask! However, you may ask for whatever it is you desire. For what is missing.
Now at first your mind may trigger images of fast cars and celebrity houses, maybe a past lover or something else? Allow these first images to wander through your minds eye. Ask yourself again, what do I really desire? When you dig a little deeper you maybe surprised what images occur. An image of your self dancing as a little girl, an image of your father, maybe you are baking a cake. Keep going ask again. What do you really want? Now this is the interesting part, like layers of an onion we can slowly reveal to ourselves our true desires. Keep asking with clarity until you truly understand the message.
If the dancing child comes back, this is your message. If your father comes back this is your message. Keep the image in your minds eye and ask yourself what does this mean to me? Are you missing your inner child? Are you still seeking your father’s approval? Are you baking a cake because you would love a career change or are your missing spiritual sustenance?
Do you know the expression, “when the penny drops” That’s when you know you have understood the psychic message. Its that oh yeah! epiphany moment. In that moment of understanding comes validation and purification of the spirit because when you understand what’s holding you back you can let it go. When you understand what you truly want you can erase self doubt.
Finally, say to yourself, thank you for the message, I am resolved. You can change these words of gratitude as you wish and when you have taken three deep breaths you can now open your eyes note down your message, reflect and contemplate.
I always feel a little elated and excited after using this technique, a message can set you free, I feel lighter and optimistic. This is when you know the purification has taken place, your energy is light.
Don’t worry if you didn’t get a clear message, like I said at the start, this technique takes time to master and the selenite crystal will be working subtly for you throughout your breathing exercise, uncluttering the mind, cleansing your spirit.
I believe what we truly want is rarely just material, I believe what we truly want is to be a wiser, happier versions of ourselves, living in alignment with our goals, hopes and dreams. Dancing through life, full of tiny blessings of purification, walking in the light.
