Kunzite

I find that working with Kunzite subtly restructures the molecules that make up the physical body. It appears to have a calming effect on the metabolism and is therefore able to balance out panic attacks and periods of deep stress-related anxiety.

We all have times of being out of sorts, and that is fine as long as we spring back out of them. But when we feel distraught, angry, lack of self-worth, anxious, threatened, stressed, generally down or depressed, the atoms that make up the physical body meet with resistance, preventing them from springing back into shape.

Try to think of the molecular structure of our body as row upon row of perfect triangles. When we are healthy, the edges of these triangles all meet perfectly. When life weighs heavy on us, and we feel down or burdened, our molecules get squashed. The edges of these perfect triangles no longer completely meet.  There are little pockets formed or crevices that allow negative energy to invade. To hide. Eventually, without a good spring clean to plump up our triangles and push the negative energy out, these tiny negative invaders begin to spread. In situations like these, it’s easy for someone to say, “snap out of it”. We have all experienced a friend or loved one trying to help. To encourage us to bounce back. Without a physical wound or broken bone, there is nothing for them to see, to assimilate. However, if we are struggling with our mental health, this is so much more complicated than a physical condition. Left unresolved or attended to, poor mantle-health can cause much more damage to the physical body in the long run. It is not just the emotional body that suffers in situations like these. This requires a holistic approach. An approach that focuses on the entire body and mind as a whole.

Kunzite is a variety of Spodumene consisting of trace amounts of manganese from which it gets its colour and lithium aluminium inosilicate LiAl(SiO3)2.

The majority of our Kunzite traditionally comes from Kunar in Afghanistan, from Pakistan, the USA and the Congo.

Kunzite is frequently found with, Hiddenite (Green Kunzite), Petalite, Albeits, Lepidolite, Quartz, Eucryptite and Beryls.
